I LOVE Poultney house of pizza. The food is so good and they have a very large selection. Drinks too. Food is served quickly and the staff are friendly. They have outdoor seating accessible and it is a very pleasant establishment. They should make merch, I would buy.

Food is a little pricey but it is well worth the cost! The service is always fast and polite. Great place it's always clean!

My local pizza shop in Poultney and they are just great! Friendly staff, that keep me coming back. The pizza is great, thin crust, flavorful toppings, a little greasy. Just what I want for pizza at the price. I would recommend to anyone who wanted a good pie.
Ok, so part of being an adult is the ability to be open-minded enough to give second chances. I gave this business a very harsh review after an extremely negative experience 3 years ago and vowed to never return. Well, that changed today! Their pizza is just too damn good and has been consistently so since I was a kid and they had a neo geo video game in there. It's unfortunate that we had a bad time, but I'm willing to let bygones be bygones when it comes to Poultney House of Pizza. Their quality remains the same in our "new normal." The pizza they make is in the "Greek style" emanating from New England. The crust isn't thin and crunchy, but it isn't like a Sicilian or Chicago style either. It is very foldable with a somewhat spongy crust. No char as it is baked in a shallow pan. We called and were quoted 20 minutes. As we stay about 35 minutes and an entire state away, everything was ready upon arrival: 2 16" pies with extra cheese, black olives, and sausage. I also impulse grabbed 4 pieces of baklava for the family, as they keep it wrapped up for sale by the register. My dad opted for a Greek salad. The salad looked great, dad dug in before I could photograph, but it was topped with feta and had the peppers and stuff in it. Dressing on the side. Pizza was still warm when we got it home and 4 of us tore up a pie in no time. 2 slices will fill you up, but I had 3. YOLO as they say, or used to say? So forgive and forget and enjoy this New England treasure as I do. My reason for no fifth star is the baklava seemed slightly stale/had some Saran Wrap taste. Also, their prices are a bit high for the area. 2 pies, salad and 4 pieces of baklava ran about $55. Finally, the amount of sausage on the pies was skimpy. My mom couldn't tell that her slices had any. With green mountain college closing, then the virus coming along, PHOP has endured. I hope my relationship with them does as well. After all, life is full of ups and downs.

ABSOLUTELY the best around!! We've had plenty of opportunity to try pizza houses in the area within a 60 mile radius and this ranks up as one of, if not THE, favorite!! I'm a sucker for brick oven, but this pizza is amazing, and the recipes for the pie crust and sauce should NEVER be altered. It's family owned and operated and they are all wonderful! We're greeted by the hostess every time with a smile! The interior is decorated with memorabilia from years past and emanates a deep pride for their Greek history! All around my favorite and I'll keep supporting them as long as they stay open. SEE YOU ALL SOON!!!
